Anda is a market leader in maid and motorcycle insurance, with over 30 years of expertise. Leveraging on its strong and established relationships with industry partners, ANDA has built its reputation on providing a wide array of insurance solutions. We are looking for dynamic individuals to join us as we continue to expand our operations. This position will lead the General Insurance department. Reports to Managing Director.

A day in the life:

  • Manage and oversea a team that handles client portfolio management and insurance advisory services in terms of quotations, renewals, and other requests
  • Identify risk and insurance needs of clients and delivery of solutions
  • Maintain close relationship with clients
  • Identify and develop new business where possible and improve renewal ratio
  • Establish high-level prospect relationships, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with customers and partners through dedicated and excellent service to retain existing and develop new opportunities
  • Gather market studies and/or feedbacks and take necessary action
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned when required

What you need:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related industry
  • Good leadership and people managing skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a team environment while able to work independently
  • Good analytical, communication and time management skills
  • Understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Customer-oriented, positive thinking and proactive attitude.
  • Meticulous, organized and possess initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Job description

Works in the Maids & FW Bonds department. Reports to Manager of Maids & FW Bonds.

A day in the life:

  • Manage clients' enquiries and provide insurance advice on quotation, renewals and other requests
  • Identify insurance needs of clients and delivery of solutions
  • Preparing of documents relating to transacted business
  • Attend to walk-in customers
  • Maintain close relationship with customers and partners through dedicated and excellent service
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities where possible
  • Debt monitoring and collections with customers and partners
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned when required

What you need:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a related industry
  • Ability to multi-task in a team environment while able to work independently
  • Good analytical, communication and time management skills
  • Understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Strong service orientation and good interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented, positive thinking and proactive attitude.
  • Meticulous, organized and possess initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
